{"id":176,"date":"2026-05-19T14:29:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T12:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madaudo.art\/?post_type=mostra&#038;p=176"},"modified":"2026-05-23T15:11:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-23T13:11:09","slug":"le-favole-di-leonardo-da-vinci","status":"publish","type":"mostra","link":"https:\/\/madaudo.art\/mostre\/le-favole-di-leonardo-da-vinci\/","title":{"rendered":"Le favole di Leonardo da Vinci"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"181\">On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci\u2019s death, the Loggiato San Bartolomeo hosts <strong data-start=\"105\" data-end=\"139\">Le Favole di Leonardo da Vinci<\/strong> by the Palermo-born artist Beppe Madaudo.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"183\" data-end=\"599\">The <em data-start=\"187\" data-end=\"195\">Favole<\/em> are metaphors, riddles, addressed by Leonardo to humankind, which, in an anthropocentric vision, imposes itself upon nature, irreversibly altering its state and harmony. Today, as nature\u2019s revolt is underway, these fables are above all warnings and, five hundred years after their author\u2019s death, they prove bitterly prophetic: we are like the butterfly that will burn its wings while playing with fire.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"1064\">The exhibition, which anticipates the publication of the book <em data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"731\">L\u2019inchiostro e la carta \u2013 Graphic Reflections on Leonardo\u2019s Fables<\/em> by Beppe Madaudo, published by Armando Editore, consists of 59 plates, including illustrations and texts, with an introduction by Santo Versace, conceived as a reflection on Leonardo\u2019s fables. Also on display are 13 personal reinterpretations of paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, created by the artist specifically for the exhibition.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1449\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u201cI have imagined, written, and illustrated many books in my life, but in this one I wanted to condense, as in a collage, my various formal and stylistic experiences, bringing them all together for once, not only ideally.
