The works on view introduce a pictorial corpus that approaches figuration as a material practice: dense, layered, and resistant to any purely symbolic reading.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"1190\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The title is not descriptive. <strong data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"856\">Anteprima<\/strong> names a condition: a moment in which the image appears without yet becoming fixed. It does not indicate a chronological before, but rather a before that persists on the surface. The figures seem at once ancient and present.
