Madaudo
From March 8 to 12, 2001, Giuseppe Madaudo took part in the International Artexpo in New York, an event dedicated to contemporary art that brought together artists, galleries, collectors, and cultural professionals from different countries.
The exhibition functioned as a major international showcase, conceived to encourage encounters between diverse artistic languages and to place contemporary production in dialogue with a broad and cosmopolitan audience. Within this context, Madaudo’s presence introduced a visual research grounded in symbol, writing, memory, and the evocative power of the image.
The New York exhibition thus became an opportunity for visibility and exchange, in which Madaudo’s work entered into the dynamic atmosphere of Artexpo: an environment shaped by professional relationships, cultural exchange, and international perspectives on the art of the new millennium.
