Beppe Madaudo

Madaudo’s solo exhibition at Nuages fits naturally within the gallery’s identity: founded in Milan in 1981 by Cristina Taverna, Nuages was devoted to illustration, humorous drawing and comics as autonomous artistic languages. In this context, the show can be read as an important step in Madaudo’s transition from authorial comics toward a broader pictorial practice, while preserving the narrative strength of his imagery.
